I went to Bicester village for the first time 2 weeks ago today! For those who have never been it’s a lovely shopping outlet filled with designers from Ted baker, Michael Kors and Joules, all the way up to Gucci, Prada and Mulberry. I very much regretted going when there’s still 2 weeks until Payday! I’ll definitely be going back although some of the things, including a bag reduced to £6,000 in Jimmy Choo and the lovely coats in Burberry for a cool £1,000 will still be out of my price range, I did however drool over absolutely everything in Prada, it’s definitely made me realise I need to earn more money. I went to assist my friend in buying her first ever Michael Kors bag – which I succeeded in might I add! (I actually picked out a bag for her I quite liked the look of myself, but I guess it saved me the money!)
I gave myself a little budget to work with just in case I saw something I really wanted, which I did! I saw some leather Ugg boots reduced from £250 t £180, they were still lined with sheepskin would be waterproof unlike my others. I was all excited but most upset to find out they didn’t have my size in stock, so, I used my pennies to buy a few other nice bits instead! I was however very calm and restrained, had I just been paid I would have been leaving that place unable to pay my mortgage!
My Michael Kors Envelope Clutch:
I’m always in need clutch bags, especially black ones! The bag I really was hoping to find as I’ve wanted it for so long has vanished from everywhere, however I picked up this little beauty in the outlet for less than it’s original RRP of £125!
The outside of the bag is patent, which is prone to hand smudges but it’s not the end of the world, the inside is Saffiano leather. The bag is then decorated with diamontes and studs along the fold over flap for a bit of a rock chick look, and has the signiture Michael Kors lettering in silver underneath the magnetic clasp.
Inside the bag it has slots for you cards, and a zip on the back which I’ll keep my phone in. Although the bag looks extremely slim, I’ve tried it with my “day purse” which is a lot bulkier than my going out one and it still closed securely. For going out it fits my evening purse, key, lipstick and my phone in the back zip pocket all without it bulging open.
My Ralph Lauren Polo Shirt and Jumper:
I love knitwear and so any time I find a nice jumper I can’t help but buy it. This Navy jumper is so nice, a chunky cable knit with the little Ralph logo looking delicate in pink. It’s really warm and I bought it in a size bigger than needed so it would fit a bit baggier and feel extra cosy.
I got the polo shirt in Navy too just because I love navy, I find polo shirts great for wearing when going hiking in the summer to keep the sun off my neck. This is one of the short sleeved fitted style of polo tops, which I prefer but again bought in a size bigger so it wasn’t too figure hugging in the areas I want to lose weight in, but skims over them but still looking fitted. The logo on this polo shirt is red and is a tad bigger than on the jumper but still not garishly big in my opinion. This was actually a bargain which I must share with you – In the past I’ve paid around £70 for a polo top but this was reduced to £30 and then reduced again on that day as a special discount for £17. £17 for a Ralph Lauren polo shirt can you believe it?
